Middle East Monitor are pleased to announce the books shortlisted for the Palestine Book Awards 2016.

The award, now in its fifth year, is an annual project that honours and celebrates books in English about Palestine. It is equally an attempt to encourage authors and publishers to create more fine books on Palestine.

It has been another successful year with a total of 40 books submitted for consideration. The shortlist books selected by the judges have truly added to the diverse selection of submissions this year, adding to the mix of genres forwarding the Palestinian narrative.

The winners will be announced at the Book Awards ceremony, which will be held on Friday 18thNovember, at the London Hilton Hotel.
